Terence Wong, MD, PhD, FACR is a diagnostic radiologist in the Division of Nuclear Medicine and Radiotheranostics at Duke University with subspecialty training in nuclear medicine and body imaging. His major academic interests include advanced anatomic/functional imaging, radiopharmaceutical therapies, and incorporating imaging biomarkers into clinical trials. Dr. Wong is also professor in medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology and is a full member of the Duke Cancer Institute. Under his leadership, the team at Duke has developed a well-established multidisciplinary program for imaging and radiopharmaceutical therapies of prostate cancer and neuroendocrine tumors. At this time, the team is developing strategies to provide specialized radiotheranostic services at sites outside of the main academic campus to improve access for patients in the community setting. At the national level (USA), Dr. Wong has leadership roles in the NCI National Clinical Trials Network (NCTN), where he serves as Imaging Chair for the GI and GU Disease Site Committees at ECOG-ACRIN, and is a member of the NCI GI Steering Committee. Dr. Wong is also a member of the NCCN Guidelines Panel for neuroendocrine and adrenal tumors.
