NMS(S) Collaboration with the
American College of Nuclear Medicine NMS(S) has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The American College of Nuclear Medicine (ACNM). Purpose of the MOU is to promote Nuclear Medicine in both countries with the goal of enhancing the practice of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging through the research, education and improvement of clinical practice in both countries, as well as facilitate cross cultural exchange of nuclear medicine between both countries. With the collaboration of both bodies, NMS(S) will be able to invite visiting experts from ACNM to give lectures during Nuclear Medicine Update and or CME Talks and vice versa. Members of both bodies attending congress/training courses organised by each other can to enjoy discounted registration fee. The MOU with ACNM is a starting point of a long journey for international collaboration. NMS(S) is looking forward to reciprocal relationship with more international societies in the field of nuclear medicine. Update on COVID-19 COVID-19 has presented unprecedented challenges for the Nuclear Medicine Community, and as someone has said, it is an example of the VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) world that we live in. I am glad to say that, as a whole, we have been able to rise above the challenges with resilience and to learn from the experiences that we have gone through. Here is a sampling of the publications, video conferences and guidelines that were produced by our Nuclear Medicine physicians over this period for information and future reference.
