Dr. Rebecca K.S. Wong is a radiation oncologist and Director of Radiotheranostics in the Radiation Medicine Program at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre; Co-Director of the Silber Family Theranostics Center at UHN; and Professor and former Vice Chair, Education, in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto.

She completed her MB ChB at the University of Sheffield (UK), her Radiation Oncology residency at Queen's University, and an MSc in Clinical Epidemiology at McMaster University, Canada.

Her clinical and research interests include gastrointestinal malignancies, care of patients living with metastatic cancer, and radiotheranostics. She has led multiple practice-changing initiatives, including multicentre clinical trials, evidence-based guideline development, and innovations in education and training.

Dr. Wong has served in numerous leadership roles. Within the Canadian Cancer Trials Group, including Symptom Control Chair (2001-2018), Chair of the Gastroesophageal Cancer Disease-Oriented Group (2009-2018) and is the current member of the group's Executive Clinical Trials Committee (since 2018). She is the Chair of the Canadian Leaders Theranostics Summit (since 2024) and Co-Chari of the Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council, Oncologist & Clinician Scientist Network.

She is the author of more than 250 peer-reviewed publications and a Fellow of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (FASTRO). She has received multiple honors including the Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council Academic Leadership Award. the Canadian Cancer Trials Group Joseph Pater Founder's Award for Excellence in Clinical Trials Research and the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology Gordon Richards Gold Medal.
