Dr. Wang earned her PhD in functional molecular chemistry from Okayama University and conducted postdoctoral research as a Research Associate at BRIC, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is currently Professor and Vice-Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine at The Affiliated Hospital of Southwest Medical University, affiliated with the Sichuan Key Laboratory of Nuclear Medicine and Theranostics. She has led and participated in several NSFC grants and general research programs funded by the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province. Her research focuses on the design, synthesis and biological evaluation of PET probes and theranostic radiopharmaceuticals.
