Tanit Phupitakphol, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He's board-certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Dr. Phupitakphol completed his Internal Medicine residency at MetroWest Medical Center in Massachusetts, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Disease at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Phupitakphol focuses his clinical expertise on the management of complex bone and joint infections.
Driven by a passion for improving care in orthopedic infectious diseases, he stays actively involved with leading organizations like the European Bone and Joint Infection Society (EBJIS), the Musculoskeletal Infection Society (MSIS-NA), and the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA).
