Dr. Dadparvar was born in Tehran, Iran. She attended the elementary and high school in Tehran and her medical school at Pahlavi University School of Medicine in Shiraz, Iran. Her trained in radiology residency at Presbyterian- University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and nuclear medicine fellowship at Hahnemann University hospital, both in Philadelphia. She was assistant and later tenured associate professor at Hahnemann University hospital, clinical professor at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and later as full professor at Temple Health system. She was involved in more than 60 research projects as PI or Co-PI and published 92 articles in peer reviewed journals and presented more than 350 abstracts in international meetings. She is past president of ACNM, SNMMI Greater New York Chapter and Correlative Imaging Council at SNMMI. She is the founder of NMRO and North American best resident researcher awards.
