PROF JUN HATAZAWA
Chief Executive Director Japan Radioisotope Tokyo, Japan Jun Hatazawa is Chief Executive Director of Japan Radioisotope Association since 2020. JH graduated from Tohoku University School of Medicine in 1979 (MD) and Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine in 1983 (PhD). JH studied nuclear medicine, mainly PET, in Hammersmith Hospital in London (1981-1982) and NIH in Bethesda (1985-1986). JH experienced clinical PET oncology (1987-1991) in Tohoku University Cyclotron Radioisotope Center and clinical practice of neuroradiology in Akita Research Institute for Brain and Blood Vessels (1991-2002). Since 2002 JH served as Professor and Chairman of Department of Nuclear Medicine and Tracer Kinetic, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, and Director of Department of Nuclear Medicine, Osaka University Hospital.
JH was President of Japanese Society of Nuclear Medicine (2015-2019) and President of Asia Oceania Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology (2017-2020). JH served as Standing Advisory Group for Nuclear Application, International Atomic Energy Agency (2018-2020). JH was appointed as Consultant of Japan Atomic Energy Commission, Cabinet Office, since 2022. |
