Dr Noordzij is a staff member (nuclear medicine physician) at the department of Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging (NMMI) of the University Medical Center Groningen. He is all-round in daily patient care, including cardiology, (neuro-)endocrinology, infection and inflammation, (haemato-)oncology and radionuclide therapy as fields of expertise. He takes care that imaging and interventional procedures in these fields are regularly updated as recommended by (inter)national guidelines, of which some co-developed (Dutch guidelines for 223Ra-dichloride and 90Y-micropshere therapy). He is certified for reporting contrast enhanced CT scans acquired along with PET scans for oncologic indications, as well as reporting MRI’s of liver pathologies.
