DR SAVVAS FRANGOS
Nuclear Medicine Consultant Nuclear Medicine and Thyroid Cancer Clinic Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center Nicosia, Cyprus Savvas Frangos MD, FEBNM is a Nuclear Medicine specialist trained in Medicine at the Freie Universitaet in Berlin, where he graduated in 1989. His specialisation was done soon after graduation at the department of Nuclear Medicine, Krankenhaus Neukoeln Berlin and University Hospital Ippokration Thessaloniki. In 1996 he received the Board Certificate with specialization in Nuclear Medicine. Dr. Frangos is a Fellow of the European Board of Nuclear Medicine. Since 2001 he works as a Nuclear Medicine Specialist at the Nuclear Medicine Department, and he is running the Thyroid Cancer Unit, at the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center, Nicosia, Cyprus.
He has published several papers in peer reviewed journals specifically about Thyroid Cancer and he is Member of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and co-Editor of the Hellenic Journal of Nuclear Medicine. He presented in various scientific events about Thyroid Cancer Dr. Frangos is currently the President of the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology. |
