Nuclear, Molecular, & Theranostics Technical Supervisor University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas, United States I am an experienced Nuclear, Molecular, and Theranostics Technical Supervisor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX with 15 years of experience in the field of nuclear medicine. In December 2023, I served as a lead technologist investigator responsible for launching a Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) project that successfully reduced F-18 FDG doses by 20%, resulting in approximately a 40% reduction in radiation exposure for both patients and staff within just three months. I coordinated a task force to optimize and standardize all of our clinical protocols and scanning parameters across all five clinic sites, ensuring continuity and consistency in operations. Additionally, I developed multiple workflow processes for technologists that enhanced quality control audits, helped maintain high image quality, and streamlined training and onboarding procedures. Prior to this role, I was a Lead Technologist from August 2020 to December 2023 within the same institution, ensuring smooth operational flow across departments. I assisted ordering providers with escalated orders and acted as a preceptor for students and new hires, offering mentorship and hands-on training to support their professional development. Additionally, I managed special order exams and the handling of high-cost radiopharmaceutical doses. I am committed to improving patient care through innovative practices and effective team leadership as shown in the various committees and leadership groups I am active in. Community outreach and serving as an ambassador for medical imaging to promote our field is a continued passion of mine.
