A/Prof Anthony Goh passed away peacefully on 3 March 2018 after a battle with cancer.
He was a founding member and previous vice-president of the Society. He served in Singapore General Hospital for many years, since 1981 when he was a medical officer then. He became the head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET in 2005 and subsequently continued serving in the department as senior consultant. He contributed to the development of nuclear medicine in Singapore and regionally, serving on many committees and societies. He was a great teacher, teaching generations of nuclear medicine physicians over the years, and a highly respected colleague among peers.
The news of his demise brought much sadness to many of us who were his friends and colleagues. I am sure what he has done for nuclear medicine will endure. Our prayers and deepest condolences to his family.
In sadness, Dr David Ng, President, NMS(S)
